Zincite
Details
Zincite is the mineral form of zinc oxide. Wikipedia says well-formed natural crystals are rare, with a notable exception at the Franklin and Sterling Hill mines in New Jersey, where it is red from iron and manganese impurities. It adds that synthetic crystals, a by-product of zinc smelting, were once used as crystal-radio detectors. Hall describes a grainy mass in red, orange-yellow, green or colourless, with striking transparent crystals from Poland that formed during smelting. Hall associates zincite with creativity, fertility and the manifestation process, with confidence, strength and courage, and with attracting abundance. She also says it helps with shock and trauma, and lists skin, hair and prostate complaints among its uses; these are Hall's attributions.
