Vanadinite
Details
Vanadinite is a lead chlorovanadate in the apatite group of phosphate minerals, and one of the main industrial ores of vanadium. Wikipedia says it usually forms red hexagonal crystals, is uncommon, and forms where lead ore deposits oxidise. It was first found in Mexico in 1801. Hall describes very small, bright, transparent crystals on a matrix, in orange, red, yellow and brown shades, obtainable from specialist stores. Hall associates it with grounding the soul into the physical body, with aiding meditation and inner peace, and with curbing overspending, saying a small piece may be kept in the wealth corner of a house or in a purse. She also lists breathing complaints and exhaustion among its uses; these are her attributions.
Caution
Hall states that vanadinite is poisonous and that any elixir should be prepared by the indirect method; she says only an elixir made that way can be taken internally.
