Sumbul
Details
Sumbul, also called musk root, is a flowering plant of the carrot family found from Central Asia to western Xinjiang. Wikipedia says its roots are the source of muskroot, used as a substitute for animal musk in medicine and perfumery, and lists Ferula sumbul as a synonym of Ferula moschata, which is how Cunningham's heading is matched to this entry. Cunningham gives the folk names Euryangium Musk Root, Jatamansi, Ofnokgi and Ouchi, and lists love, psychic powers, health and luck as its powers. To attract love it is carried, burned as incense or added to the bath as an infusion. It is burned to increase psychic powers, and worn around the neck for luck and to keep disease away. Only love matches a category here.
