Rhodonite
Details
Rhodonite is a manganese inosilicate of the pyroxenoid group, crystallising in the triclinic system. Wikipedia says it is usually found as compact masses of rose-red colour, with a black exterior from manganese oxides, and that good crystals are rare. Cunningham gives it Mars, fire and a projective energy, with powers of peace and anti-confusion. He says it is worn to stay calm and to shed confusion and doubt, worn or carried to shut down the psychic centres, and worn for balance by stone magicians, shamans and Wiccans. Hall calls it a balancer of emotions that fosters love, grounds energy and may deepen mantra-based meditation. Hall also says it resonates strongly with forgiveness, helps with reconciliation after long pain, builds confidence, heals wounds and stimulates fertility. These are the claims of those authors, not established fact.
