Kunzite
Details
Kunzite is the lilac to pink variety of spodumene; Wikipedia calls spodumene a pyroxene mineral and kunzite a purple-coloured gemstone whose colour sunlight can fade. Hall gives the colours as pink, green, yellow, lilac or clear, and also says sunlight causes kunzite to fade. Cunningham describes it as lilac-shaded and gives its planets as Venus and Pluto and its element as earth. Cunningham uses it for relaxation, calls it a peace-inducer and a centring, grounding stone, and says it may also be useful for attracting love. Hall associates it with the heart centre and unconditional love, peace, a meditative state and creativity, and calls it a protective stone. Hall also lists its lithium content and suggests it for depression, especially as an elixir.
