Details

Danburite is a silicate of calcium and boron that is usually colourless, with orthorhombic crystals and a hardness of about seven to seven and a half. Wikipedia says it is named after Danbury, Connecticut, and lists colourless, white, grey, brownish white and straw-yellow forms. Hall adds pink, yellow, white and lilac, and describes clear stones with fine striations. Hall calls it a highly spiritual stone, linked to the angelic realms, and says it is used in meditation, brings patience and peace of mind, and promotes serenity and wisdom. She also says it promotes lucid dreaming, suggesting a piece under the pillow, and describes it as a very powerful healing stone and a cleanser of karma. These are Hall's claims, not established fact.
